Copyright Policy

1. Licensing and Usage

All articles published by MIJST Journal are governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

  • Permitted: Users are free to copy, distribute, remix, and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes.

  • Requirement: All usage must include proper attribution to the original creator and source.

  • Prohibition: Commercial exploitation of any content is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission from MIJST.

2. Copyright Ownership

Upon publication, all rights to the articles are reserved by MIJST. Authors do not retain full copyright. Any use of the material that falls outside the scope of the CC BY-NC license requires prior authorization from the Journal. Submitting a manuscript implies a formal declaration that the work is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration elsewhere.

3. Permissions for Reuse

Reuse of specific MIJST content—including figures, tables, and images—for non-commercial purposes is encouraged, provided attribution is clear.

Note to Authors: If your submission incorporates third-party copyrighted material exceeding 100 words from a journal article or 500 words from a book, you must secure and provide written permission for its inclusion.

4. Author Responsibilities

Authors bear the sole responsibility for the integrity of their submissions. Authors must guarantee that:

  • The work is original and free from third-party copyright infringements.

  • The content does not violate intellectual property rights, secrecy laws (private, governmental, or organizational), or contain defamatory material.

  • All necessary permissions and accurate attributions are included at the time of submission.

5. Journal Responsibilities

MIJST is committed to maintaining high legal and ethical standards in publishing. While the Journal provides comprehensive copyright guidelines and ensures compliance with international laws, MIJST does not take responsibility for verifying the copyright permissions provided by authors. ## 6. Digital Rights Management (DRM) To protect the intellectual property of our contributors and the Journal, MIJST employs digital rights management (DRM), watermarking, and advanced security measures to safeguard digital content against unauthorized use.

7. Enforcement of Copyright

MIJST actively protects its content through legal actions, takedown notices, and other enforcement measures.

Consequences of Breach: Any violation of copyright laws or ethical standards will result in the immediate retraction of the published material and a formal report to the relevant authorities at the author's host institution.

8. Author Rights

We support the academic community's growth. Authors are permitted to self-archive and share their published articles for educational or research purposes, provided that the use remains non-commercial and MIJST is properly credited as the original publisher.
