Article Identifiers

MIJST adheres to the international standards for scholarly publishing by utilizing persistent identifiers for both the journal and its individual research outputs. This ensures long-term discoverability, accurate citation tracking, and institutional accountability.

1 Journal Identifiers (ISSN)

The unique identification codes for our publication are clearly displayed on the website footer and the "About" page:

Online ISSN (e-ISSN) 2707-7365
Print ISSN (p-ISSN) 2224-2007
Note: Any change in the journal title will require a new ISSN application, as per the ISSN International Centre regulations.

2 Article Identifiers (DOI)

Every research output in MIJST is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Service Provider: DOIs are registered through Crossref to ensure global discoverability.
Persistence: Provides a permanent link. The DOI will always resolve to the "Version of Record" even if the website URL changes.
DOI Placement:
  • Article landing page (Abstract page).
  • First page of the published PDF.
  • Metadata sent to indexing databases.

3 Author Identifiers (ORCID)

To resolve author name ambiguity and ensure correct attribution, MIJST strongly encourages all authors to provide their ORCID iD during the submission process.
